Hartke's TX300 is a lightweight, compact bass guitar amplifier head with 300 watts of power. It has a robust aluminium chassis and can be connected to a suitable speaker cabinet via its jack or SpeakOn outputs. It has a 3-band EQ as well as a handy Shape circuit that you can use to tweak your sound to perfection. Other controls include drive, compressor, gain and master knobs.

TX300: flexible Class D amplifier

It's the Class D amplifier on board the TX300 that gives it all of the tonal possibilities of traditional amps without the weight. Using the on-board controls you'll be able to find the perfect sound whether you slap your bass or play it with your fingers or a plectrum. There's also a balanced XLR output with a ground lift switch that you can use to connect the amp head directly to a mixer, for example. The TX300 has an FX loop for adding external effects and there's an auxiliary input and a headphone socket as well.
